Growing up, every weekend meant family at my grandma Ernestine Johnson's house. While the other children were outside playing, I was usually in the kitchen beside her, helping her cook and learning the recipes and techniques she passed down to me.
Those moments in her kitchen helped shape my love for cooking and eventually became part of the foundation of A's Kitchen. Her recipes, lessons, and influence still live through the food we prepare today.
